Description
Played softly in the background, this compact disc contains subliminal sounds that help boost alertness and reduce mental fuzziness. Rather than “entraining” brainwaves, these sounds can be used to “disentrain” the kind of brain activity associated with fogginess, distractibility and inability to focus.
This is a new breakthrough product that actually reduces the “neurological noise” that make concentration difficult.
Play Gently in the Background
The audible “pink noise” (a warmer version of “white noise”) should be played softly in the background. It sounds like the “whooshing” of wind through trees or the “shushing” of distant traffic. Its frequency tones are embedded at a much lower volume, below the threshold of awareness.
Paul Swingle PhD of Harvard Medical School and the University of Ottawa discovered the principle involved here quite by accident when tones that were only subliminally audible in the next room destroyed the concentration of a research assistant working there. If these effects had made it so much more difficult to concentrate, could they be used to increase concentration? Dr. Swingle measured the effects of various subliminal frequencies at various volume levels until he discovered the uncanny, almost magical formula that is reproduced in these products.
Two Minute Exposure Produces Great Results
The data confirmed the remarkable results: after only two minutes exposure, improved mental states were still measurable after 1 hour or more. Dr. Swingle tested different versions on normal individuals as well as in clinical settings involving children with ADD, closed-head injury cases, and anxiety- related disorders. In each type of situation, he achieved consistent success. In a University of West Florida study, biofeedback expert Dr. Thomas Budzynski tested this technology on the cognitive function of elderly people with equally dramatic results.
How to use effectively
It is effective through speakers or headphones. It can be played immediately before any activity when mental clarity is desired, or continuously for as long as an hour when unbroken concentration is desired. The CD contains four tracks, each specially recorded at a specific sound pressure level to be maximally effective for people with different hearing habits and characteristics. Longer lasting results can be achieved by setting the CD player to Repeat. This is a product that we can highly recommend . . . there are now well over 9000 satisfied TOOLS customers to prove its effectiveness. Learn more about Dr. Paul Swingle.
