GigaHertz Solutions HF35C Extended Range RF Meter

A precision RF meter with extended-range coverage for measuring wireless and microwave signals around the home. The HF35C is a trusted tool among EMF consultants for surveying Wi-Fi, cell, and tower exposure with clear analog and audio readouts. Built for anyone serious about understanding their RF environment.

$389.00

The HF35C uses a Logarithmic Periodic antenna for directional detection of RF waves — readings increase as the meter is pointed toward an offending source. A Course measurement range (1 — 1999 µW/m²) handles stronger fields, while the Fine range (0.1 — 199.9 µW/m²) offers higher sensitivity for lower-level signals. Audio output produces a Geiger-counter-like tone proportional to field strength to aid in source identification, and Peak vs. Average settings let you capture either the highest momentary spikes or a representative reading at a test site.

The GigaHertz Solutions HF35C offers a unique package of basic RF measurement features at an affordable price.

  • Easy to operate — power on and walk through your living space
  • Identifies peak readings via LCD digital display
  • Directional detection helps locate RF source
  • Audio identification — tone replicates signal patterns to aid source identification
  • Peak and Average measurement settings for full assessment of RF emissions

Detects RF radiation from cellular and cordless phones (digital or DECT), microwave ovens, Wi-Fi routers, WLAN, baby monitors, Bluetooth, video games, smart meters, and cell phone towers operating between 700 MHz and 2.7 GHz (GSM, UMTS, 2G, 3G, 4G). Detects both analog and pulsed digital signals.

  • User's Guide

2-year manufacturer warranty. Every HF35C is individually calibrated to a traceable standard during manufacturing using high-end calibrated measurement instruments.

What does it detect?

RF emissions from cell and cordless phones (digital/DECT), microwaves, Wi-Fi/WLAN, Bluetooth, baby monitors, smart meters, and cell towers from 700 MHz to 2.7 GHz.

What is the difference between Peak and Average?

Average provides a basic sense of RF levels at a test site, while Peak reveals the highest momentary levels — considered the critical measurement for assessing potential biological effects.

How long does the battery last?

Approximately 10-12 hours of continuous operation. The meter will auto power off 3 minutes after a battery low signal.

Is it calibrated?

Yes — every HF35C is individually calibrated during manufacturing to a traceable standard.
