The Otto tuners are used for relaxation, as the sound vibrates into the bones and releases tension.

The Otto Tuners are tuned to the frequencies of 32cps, 64cps and 128cps.

They vibrate at a low pitch and due to their weighted ends, the sound lasts longer than that of regular tuning forks. Their frequencies are based on an 8 cps fundamental tone raised in octaves (i.e. 8 cps, 16 cps, 32 cps, 64 cps, 128 cps.) The 8 cps fundamental, which based on the pulsation of the planet earth, is the generating tone for all our tuning forks. The 128 Otto Tuner is especially effective when placed on the rib heads, thoracic vertebra, sternum and ileums.

Two Otto Tuners tapped gently on the knees and held to the ears create a beautiful sustained low tone, which is excellent for grounding and relaxation.

The 64 Otto Tuner is especially effective when placed on the lower lumbar vertebrae, sacrum and coccyx. Its vibration helps loosen the sacral ligaments as well as stimulating and balancing the ganglion of impar, a center for controlling the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.

The 32 Otto Tuner works with your skin and hair to stimulate nerves. Otto Tuners are available in three Different Frequencies: 32, 64 and 128 Hz. It is recommended to start with the Otto 128.

Instructions

For using the 128 and 64 Otto Tuners with bones and ligament, hold the forks by the stem and gently tap them on your knee. With the finger or thumb of your free hand locate the spot on the body where you want to place the tuning fork. Press the end of the stem of the tuning fork onto the spot. Make a firm contact and hold the tuning fork until you feel the vibrations stop. For listening, hold the 128 Otto Tuner by the stem and gently tap the weights on your knees or tapping pad. Bring the tuning fork(s) to your ears and adjust the distance by tone. Hold one fork about an inch from your left ear and one an inch from to the right ear. This creates a long sustained pitch. This works well with the 128 Otto. The 64 and 32 Otto may also be used in this manner. When tapping the 64 Otto and 32 Otto, gently tap the body (the weighted portion) of the tuning fork on your palm. This will set the weights in motion and create a pure tone. The 32 Otto is especially effective for stimulating nerves on the skin and hair. Tap it by the body as described and than lightly touch your skin or hair with the edge of the tuning fork body. You will fell it stimulate, vibrate, and "tug" at your skin and hair. You can also tap the fork and move it very slowly across an area just above your skin without touching.

The Phi Ratio Tuning Forks, also called DnA# Forks manifest an outward spiraling 8:13 musical ratio. This musical interval is not found in any instruments of our contemporary musical system. The Phi Ratio is believed by some to be the ratio of Love. The Phi Ratio is found in much of the sacred architecture of the world. This ratio is also found in the spirals of the Nautilus Shell and is called the Sacred Spiral.

When sounded together they have a most unique effect: Some hear angels singing, others become aware of light being encoded in the physical and etheric. Others feel their consciousness spiraling. Still others feel a gateway opening. Health professionals who have experimented with these tuning forks have found they balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain and induce deep states of tranquility. Other professionals indicate they can balance and align the chakras. Still others believe that they actually create balance on a sub-atomic levels and can actual activate new aspects of the DNA helix.

The Ratio This 8 to 13 ratio (8:13) can not be played on a piano, because a piano is an even tempered instrument, with the difference in notes based upon a logarithmatically related formula. In fact, this harmonically related ratio of 8 to 13 does not seem to be found anywhere in Western Music. It may exist in Eastern Music, although we have yet to find it. To our knowledge, the 8 to 13 ratio does not appear in any scales on the planet. This ratio was computed using 288 hz. (the note "D") as the fundamental frequency. The 13th harmonic of this fundamental was calculated and divided by 2 until its frequency (468 hz.) fell within the same octave as the fundamental of 288 hz. Click here for the A# tuning fork 468 Hz. The "phi" ratio is found in much of the sacred architecture of the world. This ratio is also found in the spirals of the Nautilus Shell and is called the "sacred spiral". The further up the series one goes, the closer to the "irrational" number of phi (a never ending number abbreviated as .618) one approaches. The ratios of 1 to 1, 2 to 3, 3 to 5 and 5 to 8 are all be found in music today. However, 8 to 13 represents the first new "interval which is not found in music. This 8 to 13 ratio represents an outer octave of the sonic ratios inherent in the sacred spiral. It may represent a new level of listening for humanity.
