The Sacred Solfeggio Tuning Forks are a set of forks in the sacred frequencies known as the Secret Solfeggio.

Deciphered by Dr. Joseph Puleo using the ancient Pythagorean method of reducing the verse numbers to their single digit integers, the codes revealed a series 6 of electro-magnetic sound frequencies that correspond to the 6 missing tones of the ancient Solfeggio scale. Should I choose Standard or Weighted?

Which style is right for you? Standard tuning forks are great for vibrational healing such as sound toning and for working with energies, such as opening energy blocks, clearing chakras, or cleansing auras. In the process of promoting the flow of vital life force within the human body and the human energy field, they are intended to assist and facilitate clearing, balancing, and energizing the energy body in a simple and gentle way. Standard tuning forks also have the unique quality of being able to produce harmonic intervals (multiple pitches that occur at the same time) when struck together. Weighted tuning forks don't produce harmonic intervals as easily, however they have a much stronger vibration, making them easier to feel, and excellent for uses such as acupuncture, sound puncture, and muscle relaxation techniques. In addition to their own sound and vibrational healing qualities, weighted tuning forks can physically transfer their frequency of vibration to the body by using forced resonance, or by directly applying the handle (also called stem) of the tuning fork on the body at point of focus, such as a meridian or chakra. This is a way of creating movement or frequency vibration in any area of the body, and as such, weighted tuning forks are known to give immediate relief from pain when used with interferential therapy techniques. Instructions:

There are two ways to sound your tuning forks. The first way is to gently hold them by the stems and firmly tap the end of the tuning fork on your knees. This will create a pure tone and is excellent for deep listening. Bring the two-prong part of the forks about an inch away from each ear and listen to the quality of tone. Remember that your tuning forks are musical instruments. The second way is to hold the tuning forks by the stems and tap them together two times to create an audible sound with overtones. This sound is good for moving around the body in the energy field. You can adjust the volume by the strength of your tap. Experiment with getting different sounds. When you move the tuning forks quickly they will create a beautiful ringing overtone. Remember that the tuning forks are musical instruments that need your expression and creativity to be empowered. The Relationship Between the Solar Harmonic Spectrum and Fibonacci Tuning Forks.

About the Composer:

Marjorie de Muynck's musical style and instrumental choices reflect the importance she placed on nature and acoustic instruments, especially those that mimicked sounds found in the voices of animals and the elemental world. De Muynck reminds us that the ancients have long known of the power of sound, music and vibration to induce altered states for prayer and healing rituals. In her works, she never lost sight of the musical; her compositions celebrate the Earth as a living organism. Born into a musical family, Marjorie de Muyncks interest in tuning forks, sound and vibration was awakened at an early age. Marjorie first held a tuning fork in 1963 to tune her guitar, and then began applying the sound vibration to her own bodya sign of things to come. Marjorie was re-introduced to healing with tuning forks in 1981 from the piano player in her band after suffering from migraine headaches. As a graduate of the ISIS School of Massage in 1983, Marjorie was a part of an early movement of professionals who helped to create certification standards for Massage Practitioners. As a prodigious student, practitioner and instructor of alternative healing modalities, Marjorie attended and graduated from the Seattle Shiatsu Institute (1983-1986) and has now studied Oriental Medicine for over 25 years. She taught Shiatsu, Hara Diagnosis, Kundalini Yoga, Reiki and Sound Healing at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for 6 years. Marjorie is a Master of Music in Music Education, Boston University, and a graduate of Seattle Shiatsu Institute. In 2011, Marjorie received an Honorary Degree of Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, Santa Fe, NM.
