The Legacy is a gravity-fed countertop filter. Pour tap water into the upper stainless chamber and gravity draws it through the BOROUX Foundation Filters, where contaminants are adsorbed. Filtered water collects in the lower chamber and dispenses through the spigot. Upgrade to four filters to double throughput and lifespan.

Does it need plumbing or electricity?

No. It works by gravity — just fill and pour.

Can I add a fluoride filter?

Yes. The BOROUX Proactive™ Fluoride Add-On Filter is designed to attach inside the lower chamber for fluoride reduction.

How is this different from a Berkey?

Both are gravity-fed stainless steel systems. BOROUX uses its WQA-certified Foundation Filters and a different stainless steel design.
