Audio-Visual Entrainment (AVE) delivers gentle pulses of light through the eyeset and matching tones through the headphones. The brain tends to fall into step with a steady rhythm, a response called frequency following, which researchers can observe on EEG within a few minutes. - Tru-Vu Omniscreen eyeset. Eight blue-tinted white LEDs behind a translucent screen spread light evenly across both eyes and can drive each side at a different rate.
- Randomized stimulation. Small variations within each session help the brain follow the rhythm without habituating to it.
