WelAide Far Infrared Heating Pad with Jade & Tourmaline

Deep, soothing warmth that reaches past the skin. The WelAide Far Infrared Heating Pad combines natural jade and tourmaline stones with gentle far infrared heat to warm muscles and joints from within, not just at the surface. At 15 1/2" x 23", it covers your full back, hips, or abdomen, and the new digital controller lets you set an exact temperature instead of guessing between "low" and "high."

Heated jade and tourmaline release negative ions and emit far infrared wavelengths the body absorbs readily, which is why this style of pad is a favorite for easing tension, supporting circulation, and winding down before sleep. Auto shut-off adds peace of mind, and a carrying case takes it from bedroom to office to car. We have carried this pad for years; this is the most refined version yet.

Standard heating pads warm only the surface of the skin. Far infrared heat is absorbed deeper into tissue, producing a uniform, penetrating warmth that muscles and joints feel more directly. Natural jade is an excellent infrared conductor: when heated, it emits far infrared wavelengths in a range the body absorbs easily. Tourmaline stones add a second natural source of far infrared and negative ions.

Set your exact temperature on the digital controller, lie on the pad or drape it over the area you want to treat, and relax for a 20 to 30 minute session. The built-in auto shut-off turns the pad off for you.

How is this different from a regular heating pad?

A regular pad heats the surface of the skin. Far infrared from the heated jade and tourmaline stones is absorbed deeper into tissue, so the warmth reaches muscles and joints more directly and feels less "hot" on the skin at the same setting.

How long should a session be?

Most people use it 20 to 30 minutes at a time. Start at a lower temperature and increase gradually as you learn what feels best.

Can I lie on it?

Yes. Lay the pad flat on a bed, sofa, or floor and lie on it for full-back coverage, or drape it over your shoulders, hips, or abdomen.

Can I sleep on it?

The pad has an auto shut-off, but we still recommend using it while awake so you can adjust the temperature as needed.

Is it heavy or hard to move?

The pad weighs about 3 lbs. The stones are set into a flexible pad, and it folds into the included carrying case for storage or travel.

What temperature should I use?

There is no single right setting. Begin low, give the pad a few minutes to warm through, and raise the temperature in small steps until it feels comfortably warm, never hot.
