8-Stage Filtration System

Most shower filters rely on one or two filtration media. Omica uses eight — each chosen for a specific and clinically recognized function.

Shungite — A rare carbon mineral with documented use since the 18th century, shungite is valued for its highly absorptive and anti-bacterial properties. Its molecular structure enables it to bind to particles associated with inflammatory responses, making it particularly relevant for those with skin sensitivities or allergies.

Micronized Zeolite — An industrial-grade water purification media that attracts nitrogen, increases oxygen content, and absorbs ammonia — a key component of chloramine. Zeolite's capacity to bind lead and heavy metals has made it a standard tool in radiation remediation efforts at Fukushima, Chernobyl, and Three Mile Island.

Catalytic Carbon — A specially processed filtration media engineered specifically for chloramine removal, with a strong adsorptive capacity for VOCs including herbicides and pesticides.

KDF 85 — A precision-formulated copper-zinc alloy that eliminates chlorine, lead, and heavy metals through an electrochemical ion exchange process.

Activated Alumina — A silica-based media with demonstrated capacity to aid in fluoride reduction, depending on source water pH. The Omica is not designed as a dedicated fluoride filter, but is among the few shower filters capable of addressing fluoride at all.

Coconut Shell Carbon — Granular activated carbon derived from coconuts and heated to extreme temperatures, expanding molecular pore structure for maximum adsorption of chlorine and VOCs.

Virgin Quartz Crystals — Natural conductors of electrical energy that generate micro-volt pulses to help destabilize chlorine and chloramine and support structured water alignment.

Copper Vortex Tube — The filter's structural element that restores the natural integrity of water as it passes through, producing energized droplets optimized for skin contact.
