The device translates tiny tension-related changes in skin pore activity into an audible tone — the more relaxed you are, the lower the pitch falls. The 2X adds a thermistor finger sensor so you can also do hand-warming biofeedback, since stress reduces blood flow to the hands and lowers finger temperature.
