Magnesium L-Threonate Complex

"Water filter" covers a lot of ground. A pitcher on your counter and a gravity-fed system on your kitchen island both filter water, but they aren't trying to do the same job. One is built for everyday convenience. Another is built to reduce a long list of contaminants. Neither is "better" in the abstract. The right choice depends on what you want your water to do for you. Here's how we think about matching the filter to the goal. Start with the question, not the product Before comparing systems, it helps to ask what you're actually after. Are you softening the taste and smell of tap water? Reducing heavy metals, PFAS, or pesticides? Or shaping the water itself, mineralizing it and nudging it toward a gentle alkaline balance? Each of those is a different job, and the answer points to a different tool. Under the hood, filtration performance comes down to three things: the media doing the work, the surface area it offers, and the contact time water spends passing through it. A quick-pour pitcher and a slow gravity system sit at opposite ends of that spectrum by design. For everyday convenience: a filter pitcher we love Sometimes you want simple. Fill, pour, done, no setup or counter commitment. That's where a good pitcher earns its place, and the Therasage TheraH2O is one we love. It runs water through a six-stage filter that reduces fluoride, lead, chlorine, VOCs, and particulates, then uses natural gemstones and infrared frequency technology to mineralize and restructure the water toward a gentle alkaline balance. It's a lovely daily ritual and an easy entry point for cleaner, more interesting water. Who it's for: anyone who wants convenience, a smaller footprint, and mineralized alkaline water. Who it's not for: if your priority is reducing a broad list of contaminants like PFAS across a whole household, a pitcher isn't built for that depth. Reach for gravity filtration instead. For serious, whole-family filtration: BOROUX gravity systems When the goal is deep filtration for the whole family, we point people to BOROUX. The Legacy and Legacy Compact are gravity-fed systems that need no plumbing and no electricity. Water passes slowly through an activated carbon block, and that longer contact time is exactly what makes the difference. This is where the claims get specific, because BOROUX backs them up: WQA-certified to NSF/ANSI 42, 401 & 372 — third-party verified, not self-reported. Removes 80+ contaminants, including heavy metals, PFAS "forever chemicals," pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and microplastics. Food-grade 304 stainless steel with pressed, one-piece chambers that eliminate the welded-seam rust points found in many competitor systems. Fluoride reduction available as an add-on filter for those who want it. And yes, it's beautiful. BOROUX comes in polished stainless, white, black stainless, and sage green, so effective filtration doesn't have to hide under the sink. It's the rare system that earns its spot on the counter. Who it's for: households that want thorough, certified filtration and a system worth displaying. Who it's not for: if you only want to improve taste or need something pocket-sized, this is more than you need. The takeaway The "best" water filter isn't a single product. It's the one matched to your water and your goals. In fact, plenty of homes we talk to use both: a TheraH2O pitcher for daily mineralized, alkaline water, and a BOROUX system for deep, everyday filtration the whole family drinks from. Not sure which fits your home? That's exactly the kind of question we love. We're here to help you find the right water for the way you actually live.

Some tools promise a lot and deliver a buzz. NOVAFON devices are different. Picture this: a palm-sized, whisper-quiet device that sends gentle sound waves deep into your tissue, helping to release that stubborn knot in your shoulder, ease a clenched jaw, or support your legs as they recover after a long run. For over 40 years, NOVAFON has been quietly perfecting local vibration therapy with sound wave technology in Germany. No percussive pounding, no jackhammer noise, just precise, controlled vibration you can use on areas most massage tools can't safely touch. Whether you're winding down after work, recovering from training, or running a professional treatment room, there's a NOVAFON built for it. This guide breaks down the full lineup so you can find yours. What Is a NOVAFON Vibration Therapy Device? A NOVAFON is a handheld local vibration therapy (LVT) device that uses sound wave technology, not percussion, to deliver targeted vibration into muscles, tendons, fascia, and skin. Instead of striking the body with long, forceful strokes, a NOVAFON oscillates with a short, controlled stroke measured in fractions of a millimeter, reaching up to 6 cm below the surface, and up to 9 cm with the professional max+. Definition and Characteristics Technology: Sound wave (intra-sound) vibration at selectable frequencies, typically 50 Hz, 75 Hz, and 100 Hz depending on the model. Precision: A short amplitude range means vibration is delivered with control rather than force, so it stays comfortable on bony, delicate, or sensitive areas. Design: Compact, cordless handpieces, light enough to hold in position for several minutes without arm fatigue. Heritage: Designed, engineered, and manufactured in Germany under a quality management system certified to ISO 13485. In Europe, NOVAFON is a registered medical device, and its sound wave technology has been evaluated by Germany's Fraunhofer Institute and studied in independent clinical research. Compared With Percussion Massage Guns Precision and comfort. Massage guns use long, percussive strokes that physically pound tissue. NOVAFON's short-stroke sound wave design vibrates tissue instead of striking it, which feels noticeably gentler while still reaching deep. Multiple frequencies and fine intensity steps let you dial the sensation from barely-there to firm, rather than choosing between a handful of aggressive speeds. Treatment areas. Percussion devices are generally unsuited to the face, jaw, neck, hands, feet, and areas near bone. NOVAFON devices are designed precisely for these zones, alongside larger muscle groups. The same device that works a tight calf can be used along the forearm or around the jawline simply by switching the attachment and lowering the intensity. Noise and everyday usability. Massage guns are famously loud. NOVAFON devices hum quietly enough to use while watching TV, reading, or working with a client in a calm treatment room. That quiet, low-impact feel makes it easy to build a daily habit, and appropriate for spa and esthetics settings where atmosphere matters. In short: if a massage gun is a sledgehammer, a NOVAFON is a tuning fork. Refined, targeted, and comfortable enough to use anywhere on the body, every day. Benefits of Choosing a NOVAFON Device Choosing a NOVAFON is less about adding another gadget to the drawer and more about upgrading how you care for your body daily. Targeted Relief for Tension and Stiffness The combination of selectable frequencies and deep-reaching sound waves lets you work directly on tight, stiff, or overworked spots: the base of the neck, the jaw muscles, the forearms after a day at the keyboard. Gentle mechanical stimulation supports local circulation and helps muscles relax and recover. Gentle Enough for Sensitive Areas This is NOVAFON's signature advantage. Because the vibration is delivered through short, controlled oscillation, it can be used comfortably on regions most recovery tools must avoid: hands, wrists, feet, the neck, and even the face. Lower frequencies and intensities keep sessions soothing rather than intense. Versatility From Recovery to Skincare One device covers a surprising range: post-workout muscle recovery, everyday tension release, relaxation routines, and, in professional hands, esthetic facial treatments that support microcirculation and skin vitality. Few wellness tools stretch from the gym bag to the spa trolley this convincingly. (For more on facial use, see our guide to NOVAFON for skin and facial treatments.) German Engineering Built to Last Every NOVAFON is made in Germany under strict quality standards, with over four decades of refinement behind the current lineup. Solid construction, reliable batteries, and magnetic quick-change attachments mean this is a buy-once tool, not a seasonal impulse purchase. Investing in a NOVAFON means choosing precision, comfort, and durability in a single handheld device, a practical upgrade for anyone serious about daily recovery and relaxation. 1. NOVAFON One Product overview. The NOVAFON One is the streamlined entry point into local vibration therapy. This cordless, white-finished device delivers the same core NOVAFON sound wave technology as its bigger siblings, in the simplest possible format: two proven frequencies (50 Hz and 100 Hz) and six intensity settings. There are no menus to learn: pick a frequency, pick an intensity, and start. It's the device NOVAFON built for people who want effective daily sessions without complexity, and it's a quiet favorite among estheticians for facial work. Pros: Simplicity: Clearly defined settings cover everything from gentle facial work to firmer muscle sessions, with zero learning curve. Comfort on sensitive areas: The 50 Hz frequency at low intensity is ideal for the jaw, neck, hands, and face. Cordless and light: Easy to maneuver around the body and hold in position for full sessions. Price: The most accessible way into genuine German-made local vibration therapy. Cons: Fewer settings: No 75 Hz middle frequency and a narrower intensity range than the Power 2 and max+, so users who want more granular control may eventually want more. Best use case. Perfect for first-time buyers, everyday wellness routines, and estheticians who want a simple, reliable device for facial treatments. If you mainly want tension relief for the jaw, neck, and shoulders, and you value ease of use over maximum adjustability, the One is all the device you need. Shop the NOVAFON One → 2. NOVAFON Power 2 Product overview. The NOVAFON Power 2 is the lineup's do-everything flagship for home and professional use alike. It offers three frequencies (50, 75, and 100 Hz) with nine settings on the device, giving you fine control from the gentlest touch to firm, deep work. Sound waves reach up to 6 cm into tissue, supporting everything from delicate facial work to deep sessions on compact muscle groups. Practical touches round it out: a travel lock, IP44 splash resistance, a magnetic charging connection, and a handpiece weighing roughly 250 g. Pros: Widest useful range: Gentle enough for the eye and lip area in esthetic settings, strong enough for stubborn shoulder and calf tension. Fine control: Three frequencies and nine on-device settings dial the sensation precisely, from barely-there to firm. Travel-ready: The travel lock prevents accidental activation in a bag; splash protection adds everyday durability. Professional pedigree: Used by physiotherapists, chiropractors, speech therapists, and estheticians. Cons: Price: A meaningful step up from the One, worth it for the flexibility, but more than a very casual user needs. More to learn: Nine settings across three frequencies mean a short adjustment period before you find your favorites. Best use case. The best all-around choice for serious home users, athletes, and practitioners who treat a variety of areas and want one device that does it all. If you're only going to buy one NOVAFON and want maximum flexibility, this is it. Shop the NOVAFON Power 2 → 3. NOVAFON max+ Product overview. The NOVAFON max+ is the top of the range, engineered for practitioners and high-demand users working large muscle groups. It delivers the deepest reach and highest intensity output in the lineup: sound waves that reach up to 9 cm into tissue with an amplitude up to 7 mm, versus 6 cm on the rest of the range. Intensity levels are directly selectable on a large display for precise, repeatable settings. A new generation of larger attachments with a 90° rotation function makes it easier to work broad areas like the back, glutes, and thighs ergonomically, session after session. With an IP65 rating, it's also the most robust device NOVAFON makes. Pros: Maximum depth and output: The deepest, strongest stimulation NOVAFON offers, built for compact and large muscle groups alike. Ergonomics at scale: Rotating large-format attachments reduce wrist strain during extended professional use. Full control: A large, direct-select display gives practitioners precise, repeatable settings per client. Cons: Price and size: The flagship investment, and heavier at 500 g, more device than most home users need. Overpowered for delicate-only routines: If your focus is facial and jaw work, the One or Power 2 are better matched. Best use case. Built for physiotherapy practices, sports recovery professionals, and serious athletes who need maximum depth, intensity, and all-day ergonomics. If your sessions center on large muscle groups and you want the most capable device NOVAFON makes, the max+ is the one. Shop the NOVAFON max+ → 4. NOVAFON Jaw Tension Bundles Product overview. Our Jaw Tension Bundles pair a NOVAFON device with the attachments and guidance suited to one of the most common modern complaints: a tight, clenched jaw. Long screen hours, stress, and nighttime clenching leave the masseter and surrounding muscles chronically overworked, and it's exactly the kind of small, sensitive area where NOVAFON's gentle short-stroke vibration shines and percussion tools can't safely go. The bundle format takes the guesswork out of getting started, which makes it a popular gift and first-device choice. Choose the One-based bundle for a gentle, accessible start, or the Power 2 bundle if you want full-body versatility in the same box. Pros: Purpose-built: Everything needed for facial and jaw sessions in one box, with no separate accessory research. Gentle by design: The 50 Hz low-intensity settings are well matched to the face and jawline. Great value: Bundle pricing typically beats buying the components separately. Cons: Focused scope (One bundle): Optimized for jaw and facial work; if you want a full-body toolkit, the Power 2 bundle is the better pick. Best use case. The obvious pick for anyone whose main goal is easing jaw and facial tension: desk workers, stress clenchers, and anyone whose massage therapist keeps telling them their jaw is tight. Also a thoughtful, ready-to-use gift. Shop the Jaw Tension Bundles → Factors to Consider When Buying A few practical questions will point you to the right model quickly. Frequencies and Intensity Settings 50 Hz: The gentler, deeper-feeling frequency, favored for sensitive areas and relaxation-focused sessions. 100 Hz: The brisker frequency, often preferred for waking up tired muscles and firmer work. 75 Hz (Power 2 and max+): The in-between option that adds flexibility for areas where 50 feels too soft and 100 too sharp. Rule of thumb: More settings equal more precision, but only if you'll actually use them. The One's settings serve most home routines; practitioners benefit from the Power 2 and max+. Attachments and What They're For Flat disc head: The all-purpose attachment for broad, even contact: backs, shoulders, thighs, and facial work at low intensity. Ball head: Concentrates vibration into a point for precise spot work on knots and small areas. Magnetic quick-change: Current models use NOVAFON magnetic attachments that swap in seconds mid-session. Larger heads (max+): Purpose-made for covering big muscle groups efficiently. Battery Life and Portability All current models are cordless with up to 3.5 hours of runtime. If you travel often, prioritize the travel lock (Power 2 and max+) so the device can't switch on in a bag. The max+ adds the most robust build for heavy, all-day professional use. Home Use vs. Professional Use Be honest about your actual routine. A ten-minute evening session on two or three areas is squarely NOVAFON One territory. Treating clients or working multiple body regions daily points to the Power 2 and max+. Budget: Entry-Level vs. Flagship The lineup scales cleanly with commitment: the One for accessible daily wellness, the Power 2 as the versatile mainstream flagship, and the max+ as the professional-grade investment. Because these are durable, German-made devices, the better question isn't "what's cheapest" but "which one matches how I'll actually use it for the next five-plus years." Top Ways to Use Your NOVAFON Device Part of what makes NOVAFON devices such good value is how many roles one handpiece can play. Here are the routines owners return to most. Jaw and Facial Tension Modern life is hard on the jaw. Stress clenching, long hours of screen focus, and nighttime grinding leave the masseter muscles tight and tired. A few minutes of low-intensity 50 Hz work along the jawline and temples, always with a light touch and the device kept moving, is one of the most popular NOVAFON routines, and one that percussion tools simply can't replicate safely. Neck and Shoulders The classic desk-worker zone. Use the flat disc attachment along the tops of the shoulders and the base of the neck, starting gentle and increasing intensity only where it feels comfortable. Short, regular sessions tend to work better here than occasional long ones. Think of it as daily maintenance for the muscles that carry your stress. Post-Workout Recovery After training, targeted vibration helps tired muscles relax and supports local circulation while you cool down. Athletes typically work each major area (calves, quads, forearms) for two to three minutes at a firmer setting. The Power 2 and max+ shine here thanks to their wider intensity range. Hands, Wrists, and Feet Climbers, musicians, gamers, and anyone who types all day accumulate tension in small, intricate areas that most recovery tools ignore. NOVAFON's short-stroke design makes hands, forearms, wrists, and feet comfortable to treat. Use the ball attachment for precise spots and the disc for broader coverage. Professional Esthetics and Skincare In professional hands, NOVAFON devices have become a fixture on spa trolleys. Estheticians use gentle sound wave settings during facial treatments to support microcirculation and skin vitality, working carefully around delicate zones as part of a broader treatment protocol. The quiet operation fits the treatment-room atmosphere, and magnetic attachments keep hygiene workflows simple. (Professionals should follow their training and applicable regulations for client treatments.) Maintenance Tips for Your Device A NOVAFON is built to last years. A little routine care keeps it performing like day one. Cleaning the Device and Attachments After each session: Wipe the handpiece and attachment with a soft, slightly damp cloth. In professional settings, use a surface-appropriate disinfectant on attachments between clients. Avoid submersion: Splash protection (IP44 on the Power 2, IP65 on the max+) guards against drips and spray, not immersion. Never rinse the device under running water. Keep contacts clean: Occasionally check the magnetic attachment mount and charging contacts for residue so connections stay solid. Battery Care and Charging Habits Charge before empty: Lithium-ion batteries prefer regular top-ups over full drain cycles. A charging station (available for the One, Power 2, and max+) makes this effortless. Room temperature: Charge and store the device away from direct sun, radiators, and cold cars. Temperature extremes are the main enemy of battery lifespan. Long storage: If you won't use the device for a while, store it with a partial charge rather than completely full or empty. Storage and Travel Use the travel lock: On the Power 2 and max+, engage the lock before packing so the device can't switch on in transit. Case it: A padded case protects the handpiece and keeps attachments together, essential for professionals moving between rooms or locations. Attachment care: Store attachments clean and dry; the magnetic mounts make them easy to organize in a case insert. Recommended Accessories to Enhance Your Sessions The right add-ons turn a good device into a complete kit. Attachment Heads Beyond the standard disc and ball heads, NOVAFON offers specialized attachments for different areas and sensations. If you focus on precise spot work, an extra ball head dedicated to deep points is worth it; the disc remains the workhorse for broad, even sessions. The max+ line adds large-format rotating attachments designed for big muscle groups. Charging Station and Travel Case A magnetic charging station gives your device a tidy countertop home and ensures it's always topped up: a small quality-of-life upgrade with a big consistency payoff. A protective soft case earns its keep the first time the device travels in a gym bag or professional kit. Getting the Most Out of Every Session Technique matters less than with aggressive tools, but a few habits noticeably improve results. Setting Up a Simple Routine Consistency beats intensity. Five to ten minutes daily, jaw and neck in the evening, or legs after training, will do more than an occasional marathon session. Anchor it to an existing habit: while the kettle boils, during a show, right after your workout. Choosing the Right Frequency and Intensity Start low, increase slowly. Begin each new area at the gentlest setting, keep the device moving rather than parked on one spot, and limit each area to around two to three minutes. Lower frequencies and intensities suit sensitive regions; firmer settings suit compact muscle groups. Let comfort be the guide. Effective sessions feel pleasant, not punishing. When Less Is More Avoid direct pressure on bone, keep sessions short per area, and give the device a rest if it warms up. Mild, temporary skin redness and warmth simply reflect increased local circulation. Vibration therapy isn't for everyone: NOVAFON advises against use over open wounds or eczema, during pregnancy, or for people with pacemakers, implants in the treatment area, thrombosis, arteriosclerosis in the treatment area, epilepsy, cardiac arrhythmias, or tumors. When in doubt, check with your healthcare provider first. Where to Buy Authentic NOVAFON Devices Where you buy matters more than usual with a precision device. Warranty coverage, genuine attachments, and support all depend on it. Tools for Wellness is an authorized source for the full NOVAFON range in the US, with devices, bundles, attachments, and accessories, plus guidance on choosing the right model. As an authorized retailer, we back every device with genuine NOVAFON warranty support and real attachments, and our team can help you match the model to how you'll actually use it. A quick word of caution on marketplace listings: NOVAFON devices sometimes appear on third-party marketplaces where the seller, warranty handling, and device generation vary. Suspiciously cheap "sound wave massagers" that borrow NOVAFON's terminology are worth avoiding entirely. The German-made construction, ISO-certified quality system, and multi-year durability are precisely what look-alikes lack. Buying from an authorized source is the simplest way to be sure you're getting the real thing. Promotions and Bundles to Look Out For Bundles: Curated sets like our Jaw Tension Bundles typically beat piecing components together and remove the guesswork for first-time buyers. Seasonal sales: Wellness devices see meaningful discounts around Black Friday, New Year (resolution season), and the Mother's and Father's Day gift windows. Accessory timing: If you're buying a Power 2 or max+, watch for bundle pricing that includes the charging station, the accessory most owners add later anyway. Conclusion With four clear options in the lineup, choosing a NOVAFON comes down to matching the device to your real routine. Daily tension relief and facial work point to the One or a Jaw Tension Bundle. All-around flexibility for home and semi-professional use makes the Power 2 the default recommendation. Heavy daily use and professional practice justify the max+. Whichever tier fits, the fundamentals stay the same: German-engineered sound wave technology that's gentle enough for the jaw and precise enough for deep muscle work, in a quiet, cordless device built to last years. Take stock of the areas you actually want to work on, pick the model that covers them without excess, and start with short, gentle, consistent sessions. Why Grounding Matters: The Science Behind Reconnecting to Earth What is grounding, and does it work? Grounding, also called earthing, is the practice of connecting your body to the earth's electrical surface — either through direct contact with bare ground or through a conductive device plugged into a grounded outlet. A growing body of peer-reviewed research suggests it may reduce inflammation, normalize cortisol rhythms, support better sleep, and shift the nervous system toward a calmer state. The evidence is promising, though most studies to date are small. Larger trials are ongoing. The Problem: We've Engineered Ourselves Off the Ground Think about the last time you walked barefoot outside. Not on pavement — on actual earth: grass, sand, or soil. For most people, that kind of contact is rare. We wear rubber-soled shoes, live in elevated buildings, and sleep on mattresses raised off the floor. That physical separation from the earth is a modern phenomenon, and some researchers think it's one we've never fully accounted for. The human body is electrically conductive. The earth carries a mild, continuous negative charge. For most of human history, that charge was available to us constantly. Now, it largely isn't. What Grounding Actually Does, Biologically The mechanism researchers have proposed centers on electrons. The earth's surface holds a reservoir of free electrons, generated by global lightning activity and other natural processes. When your skin contacts the earth, those electrons can transfer into your body. Free radicals — which are linked to inflammation, oxidative stress, and cellular damage — are positively charged. Free electrons from the earth can neutralize them. Research has found that this electron transfer appears to affect inflammation, immune responses, wound healing, and the prevention and treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. [1] What the Research Shows Sleep and Cortisol One of the most replicated findings in grounding research involves cortisol, the hormone that governs your sleep-wake cycle. A 2004 study found that sleeping grounded normalized nighttime cortisol and improved self-reported sleep, pain, and stress. [2] A 2025 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study found that participants who slept grounded showed reduced stress, insomnia severity, and daytime sleepiness compared to those using sham mats. [3] Inflammation Clinical studies have found that earthing was effective in reducing blood viscosity, improving blood flow regulation and heart rate variability, healing chronic diabetic wounds, reducing muscle soreness and damage, and decreasing pain and stress. [4] Autonomic Nervous System A 2015 study found that grounding improved mood and reduced stress through autonomic balance. [5] Heart Rate Variability Heart rate variability is increasingly recognized as a marker of nervous system health and resilience. Research has found that grounding supports HRV, suggesting a positive effect on autonomic regulation. [1] An Honest Note on the Research Most grounding studies are small, some involve self-reported outcomes, and a portion of the research has ties to earthing product manufacturers. The scientific community is not in full consensus. What we can say accurately: the mechanism is biologically plausible, the signal across studies is consistent, and the risk is essentially zero. More rigorous, independent research is needed and is actively being conducted. Why Modern Life Works Against Us The separation from earth goes beyond shoes. We spend the majority of our time in climate-controlled environments, on synthetic surfaces, insulated by rubber and plastic. Our nervous systems are constantly exposed to artificial EMFs, blue light, stress hormones, and processed food. Grounding is not a magic solution to any of that. But it is one of the simplest, lowest-barrier ways to restore a connection that our physiology may genuinely need. How to Ground Yourself at Home The most direct method is time outdoors, barefoot on natural ground. Grass, soil, sand, and unpainted concrete all conduct the earth's charge. Even 20 to 30 minutes can be meaningful. For those who cannot regularly get outside barefoot, grounding products offer an indoor alternative. WelAide Grounding Mat — $39 View the WelAide Grounding Mat A 16x24 inch non-slip rubber mat designed for daytime use. Place it under your feet at your desk, under your hands at your keyboard, or sit on it during meditation. WelAide Grounding Sleeping Pad — $135 View the WelAide Grounding Sleeping Pad A 27x78 inch pad made from 95% certified organic cotton and 5% conductive silver fiber. It goes on your mattress under your sheet, so you are grounded throughout the night without changing your routine. The Bottom Line Grounding is not a trend built on nothing. There is a real body of research spanning over two decades that points to consistent, biologically plausible effects on inflammation, cortisol, sleep, and autonomic function. If you have not spent time barefoot outside lately, that is the easiest starting point. And if that is not practical for your life, grounding products offer a low-effort way to stay connected through your day and night. Frequently Asked Questions Is grounding scientifically proven? There is a growing body of peer-reviewed research supporting grounding's potential benefits, including effects on sleep, cortisol, inflammation, and the autonomic nervous system. Most studies to date are small, so the evidence is promising rather than definitive. How long do you need to be grounded to see benefits? Studies vary. Research on cortisol normalization has involved subjects grounded during sleep over several weeks. For acute effects like stress reduction, some research has observed changes in as little as 40 minutes. Does a grounding mat actually work? Grounding mats connect to the grounding port of a standard electrical outlet, creating a conductive path to earth. When your bare skin contacts the mat, the same electron transfer that occurs during barefoot outdoor contact can take place. What are the benefits of grounding for sleep? Research indicates that grounding during sleep may normalize the day-night cortisol rhythm, reduce insomnia severity, and support deeper rest. Is it safe to use a grounding mat indoors? Yes. Grounding mats connect only to the ground port of a wall outlet, not to the live or neutral conductors. No electrical current passes through the mat. References Oschman, J.
